AI Hardware Design League (AI-HDL), Center for Semiconductor Manufacturing, University of Arizona
AI-HDL, founded by Dr. Soheil Salehi, introduces students from high school through graduate level to semiconductor design, with no prior experience required. Teams generate Verilog designs by prompting large language models, verify them with test benches using industry and open-source EDA tools, and are evaluated on power, performance, area, and security.
